A Jewel in His crown - Proverbs 20:15 There is gold, and abundance of costly stones; but the lips informed by knowledge are a precious jewel.
Carl, Jennie and Jonathan

Welcome to "Jewels from Jennie" and please feel free to refer us to your friends.  My prayer is that the Lord will continue to bring you back often. I look forward to see what the Lord will do.  Please feel free to contact me if you'd like prayer, have a question, or would just like to comment on this site.  God bless you all!

Our son Jonathan is enjoying the teenage years.  We are so proud of him and see the need daily to keep him in prayer before our Heavenly Father.  We are a home school family, therefore, we can use many opportunities to allow a variety of mission activities to fill Jonathan's life.  Having a heart for missions as he does he is faithful in community service work as opportunities arise.   Having been involved in raising funds for Ronald McDonald House/St. Jude Hospital in the past few years and recycling aluminum cans giving the proceeds to Missions, he now is in training as a Data Entry Volunteer at our local food bank/clinic that is associated with the church we're attending, he continues to be an integral part of our community.

As the Lord has a strong call on my husband, Carl to teach His Word, so has He called me to be his number one supporter.  It would be our pleasure to put our heart for the Lord to work for you as you search for God's calling on your life.  God is Love and desires to be your guide.  His hope for you is that you always succeed.  Let us assist you in this endeavor if ever you need us.

Carl, who has been in full-time ministry since 1989, currently is taking a leave from Pastoral ministry to branch out in full time Evangelism.  We continue to serve in many areas of ministry in our community.   Currently Carl enjoys taking part in opportunities to serve in the county jail on a weekly basis and in rotating with others on a monthly basis. As a Christian Carl is always on the alert to be 'instant in season and out' in order to meet needs of those in which he comes into contact.

I welcome you to contact me at jheberg@charter.net to book our family to minister at your events.  I would be glad to assist you if you have a question concerning spiritual things that I may be of assistance to you in.  Please feel free to ask and I'll pray and get back with you.  Be blessed in the Lord.

The Story of Jewels from Jennie (An extension of Hand of Hope Ministries)
Bio-Updated 6/7/2011

The title for this website originated as an article‚ in a church newsletter & has grown exponentially, hence the title, Jewels from Jennie, has come to be my online ministry of teaching God's Word, encouraging fellow believers and striving to reach the lost for Christ and His Kingdom.

My husband Carl and I work together in ministry in a variety of areas. Having been in full time Pastoral ministry, we are now following the Lord in a New Direction of ministry by stepping into full time Evangelism expecting to book speaking engagements for Revival services, Men's/Women's meetings, etc.

The heart-beat of this website is to reach someone who may need a bit of encouragement not found elsewhere.  My heart is to do what I can to spread God's Word while continuing to be a stay at home Mom as I homeschool our young son.  As the time is alotted for this much needed ministry I can still experience fulfillment in knowing that God is allowing me to reach beyond the walls of my home and the doors that may seem to physically shut me in. Several years ago I was given the honor by God to drive for a Missionary to Kenya, East Africa as she itinerated in the Southern United States.  One thing she said that has constantly stood out in my mind and heart is that while her children were small, she has five, her husband was a pastor, missionary and evangelist at various times.  During the years her children were growing up she really had a yearning to 'work for the Lord' as she called it to the point that she struggled in having to stay home and not be able to walk in the ministry she felt called to.  As she sought the Lord concerning the 'Call' He had placed on her life He firmly planted in her heart that 'He desired her to raise the children He had given her to be Godly men and a woman after His own heart'.  She accomplished that task by leaning on Him and His guidance and direction.  Each of these five children are or have been in ministry as adults while she, in her elderly years has experienced a full time missionary life‚ being instrumental in training pastors in the Lord's work.  This great testimony is what sustains me and makes me know that it is my responsibility to train my son up in the way he is to go. This is why I know that this medium of outreach is a great way to allow me to reach out in the Call He has on my life while my son is being raised up in the ways of the Lord God Almighty.

I pray that you will enjoy this website and visit it often.

I have featured Faye Pind on this site for some time now and have allowed you to enjoy parts of her journey in God's Word with her as she takes every opportunity to minister in whatever place He calls. I've been blessed for a few years now to be part of a group who gathers weekly for a Bible study she leads. Her studies in 2009 began with the book of Psalms where we take each Psalm and walk with Jesus through it together.  I had been given her permission to share her notes and know you've greatly enjoyed them and been richly blessed.  Now, though, I have begun her own site.  You can visit it knowing that for the next few weeks it will be under construction.  Continue to check back to see the progress and share with others her life as she journeys to other countries on various mission trips and as she travels through the Word of God taking us with her.  The site's address is .www.fayepind.org  Please check it out.

Join in as we lay out a rich table of God's bounty for you.  Fill up or lightly graze and revisit the table as often as you'd like.  My prayer is that the Lord will meet the need you have each time you open the door, pull a chair to the table and feast on His Word or just sip on a cup of tea and languish in His presence.

May the Lord richly bless you in all you do as you continue to seek His good pleasure.
